Based on Shia LaBeouf's real-life childhood, "Honey Boy" is a tumultuous ride of emotional impact. With the confident direction of Alma Har'el and the personal script by LaBeouf, "Honey Boy" will win you over.
Between Lucas Hedges, LaBeouf, and Noah Jupe, you couldn't pick a better threesome in Hollywood right now. The trio deliver some of their best performances, while Jupe further solidifies that he's a star in the making.
Great acting and a flurry of constantly devastating drama, "Honey Boy" is not an easy watch, but this is as personal as a film can get.
