"Little Women": Simply Wonderful

"Little Women": Movie Review

As four young women navigate their young adulthood, a sweeping tale of heartfelt romance and sibling relationships transpires. "Little Women" is gorgeously realized and simply wonderful to experience.

Director Greta Gerwig ("Ladybird") has reached a new level of film production. Her modern blend of 21st and 19th century feminism is radical and a testament to her brilliant vision. The obvious growth from her prior film, "Ladybird", is on full display all throughout.

The relationships between all four sisters is tenderly achieved as well. That's thanks to four wonderful performances by Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, and Eliza Scanlen, whose chemistry jumps off the screen. Their relationships with various men (Timothée
Chalamet) and family (Laura Dern, Bob Odenkirk) all rests on the shoulders of the top notch casting.

Even with some of its difficulties concluding the story, "Little Women" is something of a must-see for the new millennial generation.
