"Cold War": Exquisite Filmmaking

"Cold War": Movie Review

"Cold War" is the epitome of exquisite film-making.

An ode to music, culture, and the evolution of politics. It's a perfectly told love story, with gorgeous visuals, and two top-notch performances to boot.

Taking place in war-torn Poland, a music director  (Tomasz Kot) and a newly discovered singer (Joanna Kulig) fall madly in love over a 15 year time period.

It's an absolutely stunning film to experience. For a film completely in black and white, it shines with the purest of intentions. It's the steamiest and sexiest film of 2018, and has to be seen on the big screen to revel in it's organic beauty.

Kot and Kulig  are marvelously convincing, as two individuals falling madly in love, over a decade of time. Two unknown actors deliver unexpectedly moving performances.

"Cold War" is a real stunner from start to finish, and a brilliant way to close the 2018 movie year.
