"Skyscraper": Movie Review
Dwayne Johnson can carry a film on his back, and "Skyscraper" is undeniable proof of that.What starts out as an intriguing plotline, slowly develops into pure summer junk. It revolves around the idea of Will Sawyer, (Johnson) an ex military, security expert who finds his family stuck in a futuristic skyscraper.
It's cheesy to say the least.
However, while the idea sounds boring, in reality there are some very interesting ideas at work. But they aren't varied or fleshed out enough to warrant such drama that takes place throughout the film.
"Skyscraper" is all about the star, and a few fun action scenes and for that, it's worth it, otherwise its a meaningless, mind numbing action film.
